CBI Wins “Best Innovation in Data-Driven Finance” at BRAVO 500 Summit 2025
Jakarta, July 24, 2025 — Credit Bureau Indonesia (CBI) has been honored with the Best Innovation in Data-Driven Finance award at the BRAVO 500 Summit 2025, a prestigious forum that shapes the future of Indonesia’s digital economy and financial innovation. Organized by XLSmart—the newly merged entity of XL Axiata and Smartfren—the summit gathered top decision-makers, regulators, and technology leaders from across sectors.
“This award reflects the dedication of our entire team and the trust our partners have placed in us. At CBI, we believe that data is not just a supporting tool but the foundation for smarter and more responsible financial decision-making,” said Anton K. Adiwibowo, President Director of CBI.
The recognition underscores CBI’s commitment to advancing digital transformation within Indonesia’s financial ecosystem through responsible data intelligence and innovation.
CBI’s solutions empower financial institutions with more precise, predictive, and inclusive decision-making tools, helping them identify opportunities, manage risks, and expand access to credit.
Driving Responsible AI in Financial Services
During the event, Anton K. Adiwibowo also took part as a panelist in a session titled “AI Models to Assess Customer Creditworthiness, Predict Defaults, and Competitor Insights.”
He shared how CBI applies machine learning and enriched data—covering over 500 behavioral and demographic features—to improve risk detection accuracy and enhance credit-scoring models.
“Our goal is to help institutions—banks, fintechs, and multifinance companies—make faster and smarter decisions through real-time, data-driven insights. We continue to push the boundaries of AI innovation in the financial sector responsibly,” Anton added.
CBI’s AI-driven approach allows financial institutions to tailor their models based on individual risk appetite and business needs, supporting better decision-making across the acquisition, monitoring, and collection stages of the credit lifecycle.
Expanding Data Access for MSMEs
Just last month, CBI signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs to launch the CBI SME Bureau—a collaborative initiative that marks a major milestone in expanding access to credible, integrated, and online MSME credit information services.
Indonesia’s MSME sector contributes 61.8% to national GDP and accounts for 97% of total employment, making data-driven inclusion essential for sustainable economic growth.
